A cow is basically a walking, four-legged biogas plant that runs on grass and stubbornness. Inside that massive belly sits the rumen, a forty-gallon fermentation tank that makes your backyard compost bin look like a toy.

They get free housing and protection from the elements. As long as the cow munches, the microbes keep the party going.

Hold on, does the cow actually end up eating its own tiny workers?

Exactly. The luxury resort has a very dark checkout policy. Once those microbes have finished their shift and multiplied into a massive crowd, they get flushed straight into the cow's true stomach.

It is the ultimate biological recycling hack. The cow isn't just eating grass; it is farming a massive crop of bacteria. Those tiny workers are basically walking protein bars, packed with nutrients you simply cannot find in a dry patch of hay.
